ExReviews.com, Inc. (“ExReviews,” “we” or “us”) owns and operates www.exreviews.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by us through the Site and does not apply to information collected offline by us. This Privacy Policy explains our information collection practices, such as the types of information we collect from visitors to the Site ("Visitors") and how we may use that information. Please also review our Terms of Use, which governs your use of the Site.

REGISTERED USERS: Visitors will have the opportunity to register with the Site and become a registered user ("Registered User"). Registered Users may post and read Reviews of former love interests that may include such information as the former love interest's name, photograph, dates of relationship, and ratings in various categories ("Reviews"). Registered Users may post reviews of themselves. Registered Users may also add comments to Reviews that are viewable by other Registered Users. Visitors to the Site may search the Site database to determine whether a Review exists for an individual. However, Visitors will not be able to view or post Reviews or access certain of the Site's features and functionality without first becoming a Registered User.

PUBLIC INFORMATION: This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that you voluntarily disclose publicly or otherwise upload or send to the Site or share with other Visitors or Registered Users. Additionally, we do not have control over who will have access to the information that you choose to post publicly. This includes, without limitation, information you upload to Reviews, blogs, chat rooms, and other interactive forums that may be available on the Site. Therefore, think carefully before deciding what information to post on the Site. In addition, we are not responsible for the accuracy, use or misuse of any information that you disclose or receive through the Site.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED BY EXREVIEWS: "Personal Information" is information about you, such as, name, mailing address, e-mail address, credit card account number, birth date or telephone number. We may collect and store Personal Information at various locations of the Site, such as when you register to become a Registered User, sign-up to participate in a sweepstakes, contest or other promotion (collectively, "Promotions"), or register for a Site newsletter. Similarly, we may collect and store "demographic information," such as your gender, salary or similar information. If we link this information with Personal Information, we will treat it as Personal Information. You may always elect not to submit Personal Information, however, you may not be able to access certain of the Site's features and functionality. We may obtain Personal Information about you from other Registered Users when they create Reviews. We will not use the Personal Information included in the Reviews to contact you unless you have indicated otherwise on the Site.

We may also provide you opportunities to submit Personal Information about other individuals. For instance, you may choose to send a notice through the Site to a friend regarding content offered by the Site. We will not use the Personal Information of these individuals for any other purpose unless we disclose otherwise at the time you provide the information.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION: We may store and use Personal Information for many purposes including to:

  • Send you e-mail communications, such as newsletters;
  • Send you information regarding the Site, including features, products or services;
  • Send you offers or promotional materials on behalf of ExReviews or third parties;
  • Contact you with regard to surveys or Promotions in which you have participated;
  • Complete a transaction or authorize a purchase that you have requested;
  • Verify the accuracy of information you submitted to us;
  • Collect and respond to reports of inappropriate conduct by Registered Users and Visitors;

  • Contact you about the Site or inquiries you make through the Site;

We will not use the information you provide via a “contact us” or other similar form or address to contact you for marketing purposes unrelated to your request unless you agree otherwise

Where we associate Non-Personal Information with Personal Information, we will treat all of that information as Personal Information. SUBMISSIONS: Pursuant to the Submissions Policy set forth in our Terms of Use , we may publish your name, voice, likeness and other Personal Information in connection with any submissions you may make to the Site.

INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM THIRD PARTIES: We also may, from time to time, supplement the Personal and Non-Personal Information (“Information”) you provide and that we collect with information from third party sources. We may combine the information we receive from the third party sources with Information we collect through the Site. UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION AND PREFERENCES:As a Registered User, you may update or modify certain Personal Information, including your e-mail marketing references by logging into your “Account” on the Site and accessing “Edit Your Account.” As a Registered User, you may also deactivate your Account through the “Edit your Account” page. ADVERTISEMENTS ON THE SITE:Advertisements from third party advertisers ("Advertisers") may appear on the Site. Advertisers may compile information about the advertisements that appeared to you on the Site or others using your computer, and which advertisements you, or others using your computer, access. The Advertisers may use cookies, web beacons and other methods of passively collecting Information. The collection of Information through these methods may allow the Advertisers to track each time you are sent an online advertisement from that Advertiser. These Advertisers may use this information to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. MODIFICATIONS: ExReviews reserves the right, at any time, to change and/or update this Privacy Policy.
